About

Located in Powell County within the Daniel Boone National Forest region, Natural Bridge State Resort Park centers on a striking 65-foot sandstone arch formed over millions of years. The campground spreads across 86 sites divided among Middle Fork, Whittleton, and Primitive loops, accommodating everything from tent campers to RVs up to 45 feet. Middle Fork Campground offers the most developed sites with electric and water hookups, including several pull-through options. Whittleton provides a quieter experience with electric hookups (most with water), while the Primitive loop caters to tent campers seeking a more rustic setting. All loops have access to bathhouse facilities with flush toilets and showers, plus a centralized dump station. Beyond camping, the park features 22 miles of hiking trails ranging from easy strolls to challenging climbs, a 60-acre lake for fishing and paddle sports (no gas motors), a swimming pool, nature center, and on-site dining. The Sky Lift chairlift provides an alternative route to the natural bridge for those preferring not to hike.
