Open — Open year-round for reservations. Check-in is 4 p.m., check-out is 10 a.m. Between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day, cabins require a six-night minimum stay beginning Saturday, and the lodge requires a six-night minimum beginning Sunday. The six-night requirement reduces to four nights three months out and two nights in the final month. Two-night minimum stays are required the rest of the year.

Pocahontas Cabins and Lodge at Pocahontas State Park offers premium overnight accommodations in a 7,919-acre park setting. The facility includes four three-bedroom timber-frame cabins, each sleeping up to 8 guests, and one six-bedroom lodge accommodating up to 16. Built around 2002, these modern units feature open-concept living spaces with full kitchens equipped with dishwashers and microwaves, multiple bathrooms, central heating and air conditioning, and gas fireplaces. The lodge additionally includes a washer and dryer. Each unit has covered decks with rocking chairs and water views overlooking the park's lakes. Guests must bring their own linens, but pillows are provided. Each cabin and lodge site includes a picnic table, fire ring, and charcoal grill. Pets are allowed for a $20 per night fee. The accommodations are part of Virginia's largest state park, offering access to over 90 miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, and equestrian use, three fishing lakes, a seasonal aquatic center with water slides, boat rentals, and the historic CCC Museum. Located in Chesterfield County just 20 miles from Richmond, the park provides a convenient natural retreat with modern amenities. Cabin 2 and the lodge feature universal accessibility.
