About
Pocahontas Banquet Halls at Pocahontas State Park are indoor event facilities designed for weddings, meetings, and receptions. This is NOT a campground or overnight camping area. The park offers two banquet halls: Algonquian (Powhatan) Hall accommodates up to 125 guests and features hardwood floors, wood ceiling beams, and windows overlooking wooded areas. Swift Creek Hall has a larger capacity of 150 guests and includes a gas fireplace. Both halls are equipped with commercial-grade kitchens featuring stoves, ovens, refrigerators, freezers, and microwaves. The venues are heated and air-conditioned for year-round use. Tables and chairs are included in the rental. Reservations for the banquet halls include access to the newly renovated Bride Cabin for wedding party preparation, plus complimentary use of outdoor ceremony spaces throughout the park. For actual camping at Pocahontas State Park, visitors should look for the park's designated campgrounds, which are separate facilities from these banquet halls.
