Each hall is part of the park's group camp areas and can be rented individually. The facilities feature commercial-grade kitchens with stainless steel sinks and countertops, commercial refrigerators, freezers, and ovens. Tables and chairs for up to 125 guests are included with each rental. Both buildings offer central heating and air conditioning for year-round comfort. The Swift Creek hall includes a gas-log fireplace, while the Powhatan hall features a wood-burning fireplace. Smoking is prohibited in both facilities. Reservations can be made up to 11 months in advance by calling the Virginia State Parks reservation system. Payment in full is required at the time of reservation.
