Pine Ridge Campground sits along the shores of DeQueen Lake in southwest Arkansas, offering 45 spacious campsites with electric hookups spread across two loops: Lake Side and Offshore. The campground provides modern amenities including flush toilets, hot showers, drinking water, and a dump station. A large reservable group picnic shelter with electric power, lights, and barbeque grills is available for family reunions and group gatherings. DeQueen Lake, completed in 1977 as part of a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers dam project on the Rolling Fork River, boasts 32 miles of shoreline and 8,700 acres of rolling landscape. The campground includes a boat ramp for easy lake access, making it ideal for boating and water sports. Fishing is excellent, with largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, spotted bass, black and white crappie, channel and flathead catfish, and various sunfish species. The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission has stocked hybrid striped bass in the lake. Hunting is permitted on project lands outside developed areas, with game species including bobwhite quail, mourning dove, turkey, fox squirrel, gray squirrel, cottontail rabbit, and deer. While there are no designated hiking trails, the vast expanse of public land welcomes hiking and exploration. Campers must check in at the Oak Grove Gate House before setup. The nearby town of DeQueen offers gas, groceries, and medical services.

Directions

From DeQueen, take Highway 71 north for 3 miles. Turn west onto DeQueen Lake Road and continue for 5.5 miles, then turn west again onto County Road and follow signs into the campground.
