About

Pine Ridge Campground is a well-developed facility on the shores of DeQueen Lake, a 1,680-acre reservoir created by the Rolling Fork River dam completed in 1977. The campground offers 35 campsites spread across multiple loops: 11 tent-only primitive sites in the Primitive Loop, 23 standard electric sites in the Lake Side and Offshore loops, plus one reservable group picnic shelter. Electric sites feature 50-amp service and water hookups on paved driveways that can accommodate RVs up to 60 feet. Facilities include flush toilets, hot showers, potable water, and a dump station. Each campsite has a picnic table and fire ring with grill. A playground and fish cleaning station are also available. The campground has a boat ramp for water access to the lake, which is popular for bass, crappie, and catfish fishing. The surrounding 8,700 acres of Corps-managed land are open for hunting (bobwhite quail, dove, turkey, deer, and small game) outside developed recreation areas. Quiet hours are 10 PM to 6 AM, and ATVs/UTVs are prohibited. Check-in is at the Gate House at Oak Grove.
