Oak Grove Campground is located on DeQueen Lake, a 1,680-acre reservoir created by the US Army Corps of Engineers on the Rolling Fork River in southwest Arkansas. The campground provides 36 spacious campsites with 30-amp electrical hookups, paved driveways, and a mix of pull-through and back-in configurations. Modern facilities include flush toilets, hot showers, potable drinking water, and an RV dump station. Each campsite comes equipped with a picnic table and fire ring with grill. DeQueen Lake offers 32 miles of shoreline and serves as the primary draw for campers. Fishing is excellent, with populations of largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, spotted bass, black and white crappie, channel catfish, flathead catfish, and hybrid striped bass. Multiple boat ramps provide lake access for boating, jet skiing, and kayaking. A designated swimming area is available, and the campground includes a playground, volleyball courts, and horseshoe pits. Pine Ridge Park nearby features a 3-mile IMBA-standard mountain biking trail. The surrounding 8,700 acres of project lands are open to hunting for deer, turkey, quail, dove, and small game outside of developed recreation areas. The nearby town of De Queen provides gas, groceries, and medical services approximately 8 miles away.

Directions

From De Queen, AR, take Highway 71 north for 3 miles. Turn west onto DeQueen Lake Road and continue for 5.3 miles, following signs into the campground.
