About

Bellah Mine Campground is located on the shores of DeQueen Lake, a 1,680-acre impoundment on the Rolling Fork River completed in 1977 for flood control and water supply. The campground is managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers Little Rock District and offers 24 spacious campsites with electric hookups (50 amp) and water connections, plus one reservable group shelter with electric service. The campground features modern amenities including flush toilets, hot showers, and potable drinking water. Sites accommodate RVs and trailers up to 85 feet in length with paved back-in driveways. Campsites are shaded and allow campfires. Maximum occupancy is 8 people with up to 2 tents and 2 vehicles per site. DeQueen Lake offers 32 miles of shoreline and excellent recreational opportunities. Fishing is popular with largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass, black and white crappie, channel and flathead catfish, sunfish, and hybrid striped bass. Boating and water skiing are available with multiple boat ramps nearby. Hunting is permitted on surrounding project lands for quail, dove, turkey, squirrel, rabbit, and deer.
