About

Pikes Peak State Park campground sits within one of Iowa's premier nature destinations, offering stunning views of the Mississippi River from 500-foot bluffs. The campground features 77 sites including full hookup sites with electric, water, and sewer, as well as electric-only and non-electric options. Modern amenities include restrooms with flush toilets, shower facilities, and a trailer dump station. Every campsite comes equipped with a picnic table and fire ring, making it easy to enjoy traditional camping experiences while taking advantage of the park's natural beauty. The campground serves as an excellent base for exploring 11 miles of scenic trails, including the half-mile boardwalk to Bridal Veil Falls and the four-mile route to Point Ann. The park is located on a national scenic byway and offers opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, fossil hunting, and wildlife viewing.
