The lake provides excellent opportunities for swimming, fishing, kayaking, and canoeing in a stunning mountain setting. Motorized boating is permitted, though personal watercraft are prohibited to maintain the tranquil atmosphere. A day use picnic area adjacent to the campground offers additional space for visitors. The Tin Cup trailhead, located at the north end of the campground, provides direct access into the beautiful Sawtooth Wilderness for hikers and backpackers. Visitors should note that there is no potable water available at the campground, so bringing adequate drinking water is essential. Vault toilets are provided.
