Olympic Campground, situated within Brannan Island State Recreation Area, offers a range of campsites suitable for RVs, with lengths varying from 20 to 36 feet. Each site provides electric (50 amp) and water hookups, accommodating various RV sizes. The campground is open year-round, with reservations available for all sites. Amenities include picnic tables, barbecues, and drinking water. Restroom facilities feature flush toilets and outdoor cold showers. The park's location along the Sacramento River and adjacent sloughs offers ample opportunities for boating, fishing, and other water activities. A ten-lane launch ramp facilitates easy access to the waterways. Day-use areas, such as the Seven Mile Slough picnic area, provide additional recreational options, including picnic tables, barbecues, and a sand volleyball court. Pets are allowed in the campground but must be on a leash and under the owner's control at all times. Alcohol consumption is prohibited in all day-use areas. The park experiences heavy use from May through October, with quieter months in late fall, winter, and early spring offering some of the best fishing opportunities.

Directions

Olympic Campground is located within Brannan Island State Recreation Area, accessible via Highway 160, a few miles south of Rio Vista in Sacramento County. The park is surrounded by the Sacramento River on the west, Three Mile Slough on the southeast, and Seven Mile Slough on the northeast. Access is via paved roads, with the park open from sunrise to one hour after sunset.
