About

Oak Creek Campground is located in the scenic Oak Creek Canyon of central Utah's Fishlake National Forest, just 4.4 miles east of Oak City. The campground features both first-come, first-served family sites and four reservable group sites, all set beneath a dense grove of shady oak, maple, and cottonwood trees along the banks of Oak Creek. The campground is designed for tents and small RVs, with the upper campground road being particularly narrow. All sites include picnic tables, campfire rings, and grills. Vault toilets and hand-pump drinking water are available during the operating season. The facility operates as pack-in, pack-out with no garbage services. Amenities include an amphitheater, volleyball court, and play field. Rainbow trout fishing in Oak Creek is a popular activity, and campers often enjoy wading in the cool creek waters during hot summer days. Off-road vehicle trails are accessible nearby, though OHV use within the campground is restricted to accessing your campsite and the adjacent trail system. The campground enforces quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, prohibits live music and sound systems, and has a 16-day camping limit.
