About
Iron Mountain Campground sits on the southern banks of DeGray Lake in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains. This U.S. Army Corps of Engineers facility offers 69 RV and standard campsites, all with electrical hookups, making it a Class A camping area. The campground provides flush toilets, heated showers, a boat ramp, playground, and access to a full-service marina. DeGray Lake is one of the region's five Diamond Lakes, known for crystal clear waters. The 13,500-acre lake flows from the Caddo River and is stocked with a variety of game fish, including hybrid striped bass, making it ideal for both boat and bank fishing. Boating, water skiing, kayaking, and other water sports are popular activities. Numerous hiking and horseback riding trails wind around the lake shore. Nearby attractions include DeGray Lake Resort State Park with golf courses, tennis courts, and horseback riding trails along 207 miles of shoreline. The Ouachita National Forest and Hot Springs National Park are both nearby. The Iron Mountain Trail System offers 30+ miles of world-class mountain biking singletrack.
Directions
