About

Iron Mountain Campground occupies a scenic position on DeGray Lake's southern shore in the Ouachita Mountain foothills near Arkadelphia, Arkansas. The lake spans 13,500 surface acres fed by the Caddo River, with 207 miles of shoreline. The campground offers 69 reservable sites split roughly between RV electric and standard electric configurations. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. Facilities include flush toilets with heated showers, potable water from spigots throughout the campground, a dump station, and a playground. A boat ramp and full-service marina at Iron Mountain provide access to the lake's excellent fishing for hybrid striped bass and other game fish. Water skiing, kayaking, and swimming at the designated beach are popular activities. Nearby attractions include DeGray Lake Resort State Park with golf courses, tennis courts, and horseback riding. The Ouachita National Forest and Hot Springs National Park are both within easy driving distance. Hiking and horseback riding trails wind around the lakeshore.
