Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. North Creek Campground is nestled along the edge of its namesake creek in the Jefferson National Forest of Virginia. The campground offers a tranquil setting with shaded sites and the soothing sounds of the stream flowing past. Anglers will appreciate having fishing access right at their campsite. The campground provides basic amenities including vault toilets and potable water from faucets, though water may not be available during freezing temperatures. Picnic tables are provided at sites. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet. Payment is by cash or check at the self-service kiosk, with a 50% discount available for Senior or Access Pass holders. Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The campground operates seasonally from mid-March through late November.

Directions

From I-81: Take exit 168 (Arcadia). Follow VA 614 (Jennings Creek Road) for 2.9 miles through Arcadia to FS 59 (North Creek Road). Turn left on FS 59. The campground is 2.4 miles ahead on your right.
