About

Blue Hollow Campground provides a primitive group camping experience at Natural Bridge State Park in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley. Each of the three group tent sites includes three tent pads, a private picnic shelter, two picnic tables, a lantern post, a pedestal grill, a fire pit, and an animal-proof food locker. Centrally located port-a-johns serve all campsites. The campground has no electric or water hookups, and the access road does not accommodate RVs or trailers. Natural Bridge State Park features the 200-foot tall Natural Bridge, a National Historic Landmark carved by Cedar Creek over millions of years. Campers can explore over 10 miles of hiking trails, including the Cedar Creek Trail which passes under the bridge to Saltpeter Cave, Lost River, and Lace Falls. The park also offers an 18-hole disc golf course, a Children's Discovery Area, and fishing access to Cedar Creek for youth 15 and under. Reservations are required and can be made through reservevaparks.com or by calling 800-933-PARK. Check-in is at 4 p.m. and check-out is at 1 p.m. Maximum stay is 14 consecutive nights per 30-day period.
