About

Niagara OHV Campground is situated in a mixed conifer forest at 6,600 feet elevation in the Stanislaus National Forest, specifically designed for off-highway vehicle enthusiasts seeking direct trail access. The campground features 10 first-come, first-served sites with dirt-surfaced parking pads and main road, each equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. The facility provides vault-style toilets but no potable water, so campers must bring their own water supply or be prepared to treat water from nearby sources. Located on Forest Road 5N01 (Eagle Meadow Road), the campground is accessible by turning right off Highway 108 about 15 miles east of Summit Ranger Station, then following Eagle Meadow Road approximately 3 miles. The area offers excellent OHV road and trail riding opportunities. Campfires and stoves are allowed, though a free California campfire permit is recommended. Maximum stay is 14 days with 6 people per site. Check-in is at 2:00 p.m., check-out at 12:00 noon, with quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
