About
Niagara OHV Campground sits in a mixed conifer forest along Forest Road 5N01 (Eagle Meadow Road) in the Summit Ranger District of Stanislaus National Forest. The 10-site campground caters to off-highway vehicle riders seeking a base camp for exploring the area's trail network. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring, with vault toilets available. The campground is primitive with no potable water, so campers must bring their own supply or filter from nearby water sources. The main access road and parking pads are dirt-surfaced. Horse and pack animals are not permitted. A fee is charged for extra vehicles beyond the first. Operating on a first-come, first-served basis from May through December, sites accommodate up to six people with a maximum 14-day stay. Check-in is at 2 p.m. and check-out at noon. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Directions
19 miles east of Pinecrest. Turn right off Highway 108 onto Eagle Meadow Road (Forest Road 5N01), approximately 15 miles from Summit Ranger Station. Follow Eagle Meadow Road about 3 miles to the campground. Road surface is dirt.
