About

Cascade Creek Campground is a small Forest Service campground located in a scenic mixed conifer forest along Highway 108 in the Stanislaus National Forest, approximately 11 miles east of Pinecrest and the Summit Ranger Station. The campground offers 14 first-come, first-served campsites, each equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. The main road and parking pads are dirt-surfaced, suitable for standard vehicles and smaller RVs. The campground operates seasonally from May through October, with access dependent on Highway 108 road conditions. Vault toilets are provided, but potable water is not available on-site, so campers must bring their own drinking water. An RV dump station is located on Highway 108 about 1/4 mile west of Pinecrest Lake Road. The area provides access to excellent recreation opportunities including fishing at Beardsley Reservoir and nearby lakes, mountain biking, hiking, and scenic drives over Sonora Pass. The campground is subject to a 14-day maximum stay and accommodates up to six people per site. Senior and Access pass holders receive a 50% discount on camping fees.
