Nemo Campsites Entry & Info Site is located 14 miles south of Wrangell on Wrangell Island within the Tongass National Forest. The site sits at mile 0.5 on Forest Road 6267 (Nemo-Skip Loop Road), accessed from Zimovia Highway. This facility serves as the gateway and information hub for the broader Nemo Campsites area. The site is primarily occupied by Wrangell Island Host Volunteers who staff the location and provide visitor information. During the summer season, the area is used for evening campground programs. When not being used by island hosts, the site is available for public camping. Information boards at the site provide current details about the Nemo area and local recreation opportunities. This is a basic, no-fee camping site with an outhouse but no potable water. Visitors should come prepared with their own water supply. The site experiences light usage and offers a quiet camping experience in the southeastern Alaska coastal forest environment.

From Wrangell, drive 14 miles south on Zimovia Highway. Turn right on Forest Road 6267 (Nemo-Skip Loop Road). Site is at mile 0.5.
