Natural Tunnel State Park's Shelters and Hunts reservation category includes five day-use picnic shelters and managed hunting opportunities within the park's 850 acres in Scott County, Virginia. Shelter 5, the largest at 30x60 feet, features 20 picnic tables, two Texas-style grills, horseshoe pits, a sand volleyball court, and a 230-foot paved walkway. From I-81, take exit 1 (Gate City/Duffield). Follow US-58 Alternate west approximately 15 miles through Gate City. Turn right onto Route 871 and follow signs to Natural Tunnel State Park at 1420 Natural Tunnel Parkway, Duffield, VA 24244.
