Cove View and Lover's Leap Campgrounds sit within Natural Tunnel State Park, a 909-acre park centered around an 850-foot-long natural tunnel that William Jennings Bryan called the Eighth Wonder of the World. The park is located in the mountains of southwestern Virginia, about 13 miles north of Gate City. Cove View Campground offers 16 electric and water hookup sites with 20 and 30-amp service, accommodating RVs up to 38 feet. All sites are gravel pull-through with grassy areas, shaded and sunny options, and each includes a fire ring grill and extended-top picnic table. A bathhouse with hot showers is located at the campground entrance. Lover's Leap Campground features 18 electric and water hookup sites with 20, 30, and 50-amp service, accommodating RVs up to 50 feet. All sites are back-in with fire rings, picnic tables, lantern posts, and utility tables. The campground includes a bathhouse with showers, restrooms, and coin laundry facilities. Recreation amenities include a volleyball net and horseshoe pits. Site 9 is ADA-accessible and located near the bathhouse. Firewood and ice are available for purchase at the campground host site in both campgrounds.

Directions

From I-81, take U.S. 23 North to Gate City (about 20 miles). The turn-off to the park is at mile marker 17.4 on Route 23. Take Natural Tunnel Parkway about one mile east to park entrance at 1420 Natural Tunnel Parkway, Duffield, VA 24244.
