Natural Tunnel State Park's cabin and lodge accommodations provide a comfortable base for exploring Virginia's eighth wonder: a massive tunnel carved through Purchase Ridge by Stock Creek over millions of years. The park offers 11 two-bedroom frame cabins sleeping up to 6, two three-bedroom cabins sleeping up to 8, and a six-bedroom lodge accommodating up to 16 guests. Four recreational yurts near the campground are also available from March through November. Each cabin features a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, Tempur-Pedic mattresses, gas log fireplace, air conditioning and heating, and a washer/dryer. The wrap-around deck includes rocking chairs for enjoying the mountain scenery. Outside, each cabin has its own fire pit, barbecue grill, and picnic table. Multiple cabins are ADA-accessible with ramps and accessible bathrooms. Pets are welcome with an additional nightly fee. The park also features a visitor center with exhibits on the tunnel's geology, a chairlift ride to the tunnel floor, over 10 miles of hiking trails, a swimming pool (seasonal), and the Cove Ridge Center for group accommodations. A camp store sells firewood, ice, and supplies. The park is open year-round with cabin reservations available up to 11 months in advance through the Virginia State Parks system.

Directions
