Limited services in winter: flush toilets and vault toilets open, water available only at comfort station spigot, dump station is dry dump only. Showers and laundry facilities closed in winter months. Park gates open 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Mueller State Park offers year-round camping in a serene mountain setting west of Colorado Springs near Divide, Colorado. The park features 136 campsites spread across multiple campground loops including Peak View, Revenuers Ridge, and Outlook Ridge. Sites range from walk-in tent sites to RV sites with electric hookups, plus two equestrian sites with adjacent horse stalls. Seven campsites are ADA-accessible. Three fully furnished log cabins provide a comfortable alternative to tent camping. The campground sits at over 9,000 feet elevation in a picturesque forest of spruce, fir, pine and aspen trees with stunning views of Pikes Peak and the Continental Divide. Each campsite includes a picnic table, tent pad and fire pit. Amenities include flush toilets, coin-operated showers and laundry facilities during summer months, a dump station, and firewood available for purchase. The park encompasses 5,121 acres of mountain meadows and forests with 50 miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding and cross-country skiing. Winter camping is available at 29 electrical sites with modified services. Mueller State Park is a designated Watchable Wildlife Area where elk, deer, black bears and other wildlife are frequently observed. Reservations are required and can be made up to six months in advance.

Directions

From Colorado Springs, take US 24 west to Divide, then Highway 67 South for 3.5 miles. Park entrance is on Highway 67 South. Visitor Center is located 1.5 miles from the entrance on Wapiti Road.
