About

Springdale Campground is a small, primitive Forest Service campground nestled in Pike National Forest near Woodland Park, Colorado. The campground has 13 standard nonelectric sites accessible via Rampart Range Road (Forest Road 300), with gravel road and parking surfaces. Due to tight space, vehicle length is limited to 30 feet maximum. This is a pack-it-in, pack-it-out style campground with vault toilets and picnic tables at each site, but no potable water, showers, or hookups. Campers must bring their own water supply. Firewood is available for purchase at the host site for $10 per bundle. Dogs are allowed but must be kept on leash at all times, and no discharge of firearms or fireworks is permitted. The campground's location just 3.5 miles from Rampart Reservoir Recreation Area makes it a convenient base for fishing, hiking, and exploring the Pike National Forest. Sites are first-come, first-served only with payment via self-service fee tube (cash, check, or money order) or the Recreation.gov mobile app's Scan and Pay feature when available.
