Pike Community Group Campground is a dedicated group camping facility in Pike National Forest, located 5 miles north of Woodland Park on Highway 67. The campground provides a single large group site designed to accommodate up to 100 people and 48 vehicles, making it ideal for large gatherings, family reunions, or organizational events. The facility is well-equipped with group-oriented amenities including multiple picnic and serving tables, group fire grates, and a central campfire circle. Recreational features include a children's play area, sand volleyball court, softball field, and horseshoe pits, providing entertainment options for all ages. Basic amenities include vault toilets, drinking water, and trash dumpsters. An RV dump station is available just outside the campground. The campground's location provides convenient access to Pike National Forest recreation opportunities. The Centennial Trail lies directly across Highway 67 and connects to Manitou Lake Picnic Area. Pikes Peak is approximately 20 miles away in Manitou Springs, accessible by hiking, driving, or the historic cog railway. The campground operates on a reservation-only basis through Recreation.gov with a minimum four-day advance booking requirement.

Directions

From Colorado Springs, travel west on Highway 24 for approximately 18 miles to Woodland Park. From Woodland Park, travel 5 miles north on Highway 67. Pike Community Group Campground is located on the right side of the road just past the entrance to South Meadows Campground.
