About

Pike Community Group Campground sits at 7,700 feet elevation in Pike National Forest, about 6 miles north of Woodland Park on Highway 67. This reservation-only group site can accommodate up to 100 people and 48 vehicles, making it ideal for family reunions, scout troops, church groups, and other large gatherings. The campground features extensive recreational facilities including a softball field, sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, and a children's play area. Basic amenities include vault toilets, potable drinking water, picnic tables, group fire grates, a campfire circle, and trash dumpsters. The nearby Centennial Trail offers a paved accessible hiking option. Campers should be prepared for afternoon thunderstorms common at this elevation and take appropriate lightning precautions. Bears are present in the area. Dogs must be leashed at all times, and discharge of firearms or fireworks is prohibited.
