About

Mt Randall Modern Campground is the larger of two campgrounds at Warren Dunes State Park, offering 182 campsites divided into two distinct loops. The campground provides a variety of site types and sizes to accommodate different camping preferences, from sunny open sites to shaded wooded spots. Modern amenities include three toilet and shower buildings, electrical hookups with some sites offering 50-amp service, and pull-through sites suitable for larger RVs. Three rustic mini cabins are available within the campground, each sleeping six people with electricity, ceramic heaters, and outdoor cooking areas. Situated along the eastern shore of Lake Michigan in southwestern Michigan, the campground serves as an ideal base for exploring the park's 1,500 acres of natural beauty. Campers have access to 3 miles of sandy Lake Michigan shoreline, including a designated swim area with accessible walkways. The park's most notable feature is its rugged dune formations, with Mt Randall rising 260 feet above the lake, offering spectacular views and challenging climbs. Six miles of hiking trails wind through forested dunes, interdunal wetlands, and open sand formations. The campground includes a playground, recycling facilities, and a sanitation station, while the nearby day-use area offers food trucks during peak season and equipment rentals for paddleboarding and kayaking.
