Open — Open year-round. Reservations available through Pennsylvania State Parks reservation system up to 11 months in advance, with a minimum 3-day advance booking requirement.

About

Mount Pisgah State Park encompasses 1,302 acres in Pennsylvania's Northern Tier, just two miles north of US Route 6 between Troy and Towanda in Bradford County. The park centers around Stephen Foster Lake, a 75-acre impoundment on Mill Creek named after the famous composer and former local resident. Rolling farmland and scenic secondary roads through East Troy and West Burlington lead to the park at the base of Mt. Pisgah, which rises to 2,260 feet. The park offers diverse camping options including tent sites, RV sites, and rental cabins, all bookable through the state reservation system. Modern restrooms with flush toilets and showers serve the campground. The park features an environmental interpretive center, butterfly garden, and offers guided nature walks and educational programming. Adjacent to Mt. Pisgah County Park and State Game Lands 289, the area provides expanded recreation opportunities including additional hiking and hunting access. The lake provides quality fishing for stocked trout and bass, plus opportunities for boating and winter ice skating.
