About

Morro Bay State Park Group Campground sits within a scenic coastal park on California's Central Coast, offering group camping with views of the iconic Morro Rock and the ecologically rich Morro Bay estuary. The park encompasses volcanic peaks, diverse wildlife habitats, and the Morro Bay Museum of Natural History. Two group sites are available: Chorro accommodates up to 25 people with parking for 15 vehicles (including a maximum of 2 RVs) at $165 per night, while Osos hosts 25 people with 10 vehicles (also max 2 RVs) at $100 per night. Both sites feature water spigots, picnic tables, fire rings with grates, and dedicated restroom facilities. The broader campground offers flush toilets, token-operated hot showers, drinking water, and an RV dump station. Recreational opportunities include hiking, fishing, bird watching, kayaking at the marina, and an 18-hole public golf course. Reservations are required through ReserveCalifornia.
