The campground is situated within the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest and offers over 40 campsites for tent and RV camping, including reservable sites with electric and water hookups, as well as walk-in tent sites. Some sites are available first-come, first-served. The campground provides modern amenities including flush toilets, accessible showers, drinking water, a dump station, and trash collection. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and campfire ring with grill. The adjacent day-use area features a designated swimming beach with outdoor showers, picnic facilities, boat ramp, and kayak and paddleboard rentals during peak season. Lake Blue Ridge offers year-round recreation including fishing for bass and other species, motorized and non-motorized boating, jet skiing, and swimming. Day-use hiking trails include a lakefront trail ideal for leisurely walks through the forest. The Appalachian and Benton MacKaye trails pass through Fannin County and are easily accessed from the campground. The town of Morganton is approximately one mile north with a convenience store and gas station, while Blue Ridge offers full services about 15 minutes west on Highway 76.
