Morgan Lake Campground and Group Site is nestled in a heavily wooded forest surrounding the 45-acre Morgan Lake at 1,500 feet elevation in Florence County, Wisconsin. The campground provides 18 individual family campsites with varying capacities for RVs up to 40 feet, plus a separate group campsite that can accommodate up to 25 people with four vehicles and one RV or trailer. All sites feature fire rings with grills and picnic tables, with accessible vault toilets and potable water available throughout. The recreation area offers a small sandy beach, picnic area, and boat ramp providing access to the clear lake waters. Fishing is excellent year-round, with largemouth bass being particularly abundant. Only non-motorized boats and electric motors are permitted. ATVs and UTVs are allowed in the campground. The campground is located about 7 miles north of Laona via Highway 139 and Forest Road 2161. Note that this site is sometimes confused with Morgan County Park in Niagara, Wisconsin, which is a separate facility managed by Marinette County.

Directions

From Laona, travel north 7 miles to Highway 139. Turn left (north) on Highway 139 and continue for 11 miles to Forest Road 2161. Turn right (east) and drive 7.8 miles to the campground.
