WHERE...Moffat, Routt, Jackson, Grand, Rio Blanco, Garfield, Eagle, Summit, Gilpin, Clear Creek, Mesa, Pitkin, Lake, Park, Delta, Gunnison, Chaffee, Montrose, Ouray, San Miguel, Dolores, and northern parts of Montezuma and Saguache Counties. Locations include, but are not limited to Craig, Steamboat Springs, Walden, Granby, Hot Sulphur Springs, Kremmling, Meeker, Rangely, Glenwood Springs, Eagle, Vail, Breckenridge, Central City, Georgetown, Grand Junction, Aspen, Leadville, Fairplay, Delta, Gunnison, Buena Vista, Salida, Montrose, Nucla, Ouray, Telluride, Dove Creek, and Saguache. WHEN...900 AM Wednesday July 01 to 900 AM Thursday July 02 IMPACTS...Areas downwind of large fires in southwestern Colorado and southeastern Utah could have periods of moderate to heavy smoke through at least Thursday morning. HEALTH INFORMATION...Public Health Recommendations: If smoke is thick or becomes thick in your neighborhood you may want to remain indoors. This is especially true for those with heart disease, respiratory illnesses, the very young, and older adults. Consider limiting outdoor activity when moderate to heavy smoke is present. Consider relocating temporarily if smoke is present indoors and is making you ill. If visibility is less than 5 miles in smoke in your neighborhood, smoke has reached levels that are unhealthy.

About
Mizpah Campground is a small, rustic campground in the Arapaho National Forest located along Highway 40 and West Clear Creek in Clear Creek County, Colorado. Nestled in a spruce-fir forest at 9,200 feet elevation, the campground offers 10 first-come, first-served sites suitable for both tent camping and smaller RVs. Each site is equipped with a tent pad, fire grate, and picnic table, with parking spurs ranging from 20 to 30 feet in length. Facilities are basic but functional, including vault toilets and potable water available from a hand pump. There are no electric, water, or sewer hookups at the sites. The campground enforces an 8-person maximum per site, and all vehicles must fit within the designated parking spurs with no off-road parking permitted. The campground provides access to excellent recreational opportunities in the area, including fishing in West Clear Creek, scenic driving along Highway 40, and nearby access to Jones Pass and the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail. Dogs are permitted but must be kept on a hand-held leash at all times.
Directions
From Denver, take I-70 west to US 40. Travel north on US 40 for approximately 7.5 miles. The campground is on the left side of the highway.
