About

Brown's Millpond Campground is a family recreation facility operated by Brown's Campgrounds as a concessionaire for Inyo County Parks and Recreation. Located six miles northwest of Bishop off Highway 395, the campground offers 72 RV and tent sites nestled in the foothills of the High Sierra Mountains. The sites are backed by the cool-running waters of a creek, providing a relaxing atmosphere for families and campers. The campground provides electric and water hookups at each site, along with flush toilets, hot showers, handicapped-accessible facilities, and coin-operated laundry. A concession stand is available on-site. The campground accommodates larger RVs and is considered big rig friendly. Adjacent to the campground is the Millpond Recreation Area, a 120-acre county park offering numerous recreational opportunities. The park features a pond for swimming and fishing (no power boats allowed), disc golf course, softball fields, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, playground equipment, and a gazebo available for special events. Hiking and mountain bike trails are also accessible from the area. Note that dogs are not allowed in the recreation area park itself.

Directions
