Mill Creek Campground is a compact 6-site facility nestled along Mill Creek in the Grindstone Ranger District of Mendocino National Forest. The campground serves as a convenient base for OHV recreation, with access to the Stonyford area trail system and nearby Nail Track OHV Play Area. Stream fishing is productive in winter and early spring when water flows are strongest. This is a first-come, first-served campground with no advance reservations. Campers pay on-site using the Recreation.gov mobile app's Scan & Pay feature at the kiosk. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. Vault toilets are provided and drinking water is available from faucets. Check-in is at 2:00 p.m. and check-out at 11:00 a.m., with quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. OHV users should note that all vehicles require current registration (Green Sticker, Red Sticker, or highway license), a USFS-approved spark arrester, and motorcyclists must wear DOT-approved helmets. The Grindstone OHV trail system may have damage and downed trees from recent weather.
