About

Fouts Campground sits in the chaparral and gray pine landscape of Mendocino National Forest's Stonyford Recreation Area. This 11-site campground serves as a base camp for off-highway vehicle recreation, with the Stonyford OHV trail system accessible directly from the area. The campground offers basic amenities including vault toilets, a dumpster for trash, and established sites with picnic tables and fire rings with grills. The campground operates year-round on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations. Payment is $5 per night via QR code scanning through the Recreation.gov mobile app. Check-in is at 2:00 p.m. and check-out at 11:00 a.m., with quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. A maximum of two vehicles per site is permitted. Bathhouse Trailhead is located less than a mile away, connecting to Deafy Glade trail, Dixie Glade Equestrian Campground, Summit Springs trail, and Snow Mountain Wilderness.
