Hazardous traveling conditions. Use extra caution while driving. Closures and disruptions to infrastructure may occur. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes, especially over higher passes.

Meadow Creek Campground is a small, primitive campground situated along the scenic South Fork of the Clearwater River in the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests. Located 18 miles east of Grangeville on State Highway 14 at milepost 15, this free campground offers 3 camping units, each equipped with a picnic table and fire pit. The campground provides vault toilets but no drinking water, so campers must bring their own. This is a first-come, first-served facility with no reservations or fees. The sites can accommodate small trailers, though maneuvering is tight. Garbage services are not provided, so visitors must pack out all trash. The campground's riverside location offers fishing opportunities in the South Fork of the Clearwater River. Open year-round, the campground may become inaccessible during winter months due to snow on State Highway 14. From Grangeville, access is via the Mt. Idaho Grade, turning south on Grangeville-Salmon Road (FSR 221) at the drive-in theater toward Mt. Idaho, then continuing to the junction with Highway 14 toward Elk City.

From Grangeville, turn south on Grangeville-Salmon Road (FSR 221) at the drive-in theater toward Mt. Idaho. Continue on the Mt. Idaho Grade to the junction with State Highway 14 headed toward Elk City. Campground is 18 miles east of Grangeville on Highway 14 at milepost 15.
