About

Castle Creek Campground is a small, rustic campground situated along the South Fork of the Clearwater River within the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests. Located at milepost 14 on Highway 14 east of Grangeville, Idaho, the campground offers 9 sites suitable for tents, RVs, and trailers. Each site includes a picnic table, and vault toilets are available. The campground sits right along the river, making it an excellent base for fishing. Anglers can pursue trout, steelhead, and salmon depending on the season. The Highway 14 corridor provides easy access while still offering a peaceful forest setting along the river. This is a first-come, first-served campground with no advance reservations available. Sites are $12 per night with an additional $3 fee for extra vehicles. Campers should note that the water system is currently not operational, so bring your own drinking water. There is no trash service; pack out what you pack in.
