Manatee Springs State Park Campground features 80 well-shaded campsites distributed across three loops: Magnolia 1, Magnolia 2, and Hickory. Each loop has centrally located hot shower restrooms, and all sites come equipped with water and electric hookups. Select sites in Magnolia 1 offer full hookups including sewer, while Magnolia 2 and Hickory loops have access to a dump station. The campground accommodates both tent camping and RVs, with specific sites designated for tent camping only. The park's centerpiece is a first-magnitude spring that releases an astounding 100 million gallons of crystal-clear water daily, making it the largest single spring flowing into the Suwannee River. An 800-foot boardwalk winds through majestic moss-covered cypress forest, providing excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. During cooler months, manatees can be spotted in the spring, along with year-round sightings of birds, fish, and other wildlife. The park offers 8.5 miles of nature trails through cypress swamps, sinkhole ponds, and uplands, plus connectivity to the 32-mile Nature Coast State Trail. Swimming, diving, fishing, canoeing, and kayaking are popular activities.
