A quarter-mile trail connects Lucerne to nearby Refrigerator Harbor Campground and provides access to the road leading to Holden Village. Day use requires a Lake Chelan Federal Dock Site Permit from May 1 through October 31, costing $10 per day or $75 for the season. The site is popular for swimming, boating, and day hiking.
