About

Lost Spring Campground is a small, primitive campground tucked away in a quiet forested setting along Silver Creek in Idaho's Salmon-Challis National Forest. With just six campsites, it offers a secluded camping experience far from developed areas. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. The campground provides basic amenities including a vault toilet, but campers must bring their own drinking water and pack out all trash. There are no hookups, showers, or other developed facilities. The nearby Meyers Cove trailhead at the end of the road provides access to backcountry trails. This remote location is particularly popular with hunters during fall hunting seasons. The lengthy drive on forest roads to reach the campground keeps crowds low, making it an excellent choice for those seeking solitude in a backcountry setting.
