About

Seneca Lake State Park sits at the northern end of Seneca Lake, the largest of the Finger Lakes, near Geneva, New York. The 141-acre park serves as a popular day-use destination but does not permit overnight camping of any kind. Facilities include a swimming beach with a sprayground, two marinas offering electric and non-electric boat slips, a boat launch, fishing access, and two playgrounds designed for children ages 2-12. The park also has hiking and biking trails, plus areas for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in winter. For group gatherings, the park offers four reservable picnic pavilions (capacities ranging from 50 to 161 people) and two tent shelters for events. Restrooms and showers are available seasonally from May through October. Visitors seeking overnight camping should consider nearby Sampson State Park, which offers 243 electric campsites on the eastern shore of Seneca Lake.
