About

Long Lake Campground sits at 3,237 feet elevation in Colville National Forest, offering 12 well-shaded campsites on the north shore of a beautiful 58-foot-deep lake. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. The campground provides potable water via an old-fashioned pump-handle well and vault toilets. Sites can accommodate everything from tents to larger RVs, though drivers of large rigs should use caution on the entrance road. The 13-acre lake is managed as a quality fly-fishing destination, stocked with cutthroat trout. All motors including electric are prohibited, and only fly fishing with barbless hooks is permitted. Lead weights are also banned. A 1.5-mile trail traverses the shoreline, providing excellent opportunities to observe wildlife including common loons and abundant chipmunks. The campground operates first-come, first-served with no reservations. Quiet hours are 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., and campers are limited to 14 consecutive nights. A Washington state fishing license is required for anglers.
