About

Ferry Lake Campground sits tucked away in the Republic Ranger District of Colville National Forest, accessible via Forest Roads off Highway 21. The nine first-come, first-served campsites are spread along the lakeshore, offering a mix of tent-friendly spots and sites suitable for smaller RVs and trailers. Large RVs are not recommended due to the limited turnaround space at the end of the campground road. The lake itself is the main draw. Internal combustion engines are banned, so the only sounds are paddles, loons, and ducks. The lake is regularly stocked with catchable-size rainbow trout, with late spring through early summer being prime fishing season. Two-pole fishing is allowed, but lead weights and jigs measuring 1.5 inches or less are prohibited to protect breeding loons. Amenities are minimal: two vault toilets, a boat launch for small watercraft, and bear-proof food storage containers at sites. There is no potable water, so bring your own. Swan Lake and Fish Lake are within 3 miles for day-trip fishing. The nearest supplies are in Republic, about 14 miles away.
