Long Branch Campground sits in a prime location below Center Hill Dam on the scenic Caney Fork River in central Tennessee's Highland Rim region. The campground offers 60 spacious gravel campsites, each equipped with water and 50-amp electric hookups, along with a charcoal grill, fire ring, lantern pole, and picnic table. Modern amenities include flush toilets, hot showers, and drinking water, plus a convenient dump station. A boat ramp, fish cleaning station, and playground round out the on-site facilities. The campground is surrounded by lush mixed hardwood forests where whitetail deer, wild turkey, squirrels, and rabbits are commonly spotted. Anglers flock to Long Branch for trophy trout fishing on the Caney Fork River, which is regularly stocked with rainbow and brown trout. Both fly fishers and spin fishers find excellent opportunities on this beautiful tailwater. The river is also popular for canoeing and kayaking. Just across the river, the Buffalo Valley Nature Trail provides additional access to the Caney Fork and exceptional wildlife viewing. Above the dam, Center Hill Lake stretches 64 miles up the river with 415 miles of forested shoreline, offering boating, water skiing, and additional fishing opportunities. Edgar Evins State Park is located just 5 minutes away.

Directions

From I-40, take exit 268 and merge onto US-96 west. Continue for 5 miles to the end of Center Hill Dam, then turn right on SR-141. Follow signs into campground.
