About
Lees Ferry Campground sits at the historic river crossing point where the Paria River joins the Colorado River, within Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. The 54 designated sites offer sweeping views of the Vermilion Cliffs and direct access to world-class trout fishing and the Colorado River launch ramp just 2 miles away. The campground operates year-round on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations. Amenities include modern flush restrooms with potable water, grills at each site, and a seasonal RV dump station. No hookups are available, but RVs and trailers are welcome. Quiet hours are enforced from 10pm to 6am. The campground is relatively flat with paved surfaces, though there are no designated ADA sites. Summers are extremely hot with temperatures reaching 110°F, while winters can drop below freezing. Spring brings variable weather with extended wind periods. Fall offers the most pleasant camping conditions with mild temperatures.
