Lake Marvin Campground is a small, rustic campground located in the Texas portion of Black Kettle National Grassland, managed by Cibola National Forest and National Grasslands. Situated at 2,000 feet elevation approximately 12 miles east of Canadian, Texas via US 60, the campground provides 12 camping units in a peaceful setting beside Lake Marvin. The campground operates year-round on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations. Tent camping is free, while sites with electric hookups are available for $20 per night. Facilities include vault toilets, potable water, and picnic tables. Lake Marvin offers fishing opportunities for bass, catfish, and panfish when water conditions allow. Shore fishing and motorized boating are permitted. The surrounding grassland supports wildlife viewing, day hiking, and scenic drives through the rolling plains landscape.

From Canadian, Texas, drive 12 miles east on US Highway 60 to reach Lake Marvin Recreation Area.
