Open — Open year-round for camping. All 24 hookup sites are available by reservation. Eight first-come, first-served sites are also available. Day use reservations required before 11:30 a.m. from May 15 through September 15. Camping limited to 14 days per 30-day period.

Big Bend of the Colorado State Recreation Area sits on the shores of the Colorado River just south of Laughlin, Nevada, offering a scenic desert oasis with two miles of sandy shoreline. Established in 1996, the park provides 24 reservable RV sites with full hookups plus 8 first-come, first-served sites. Because the park is downstream from Davis Dam, the Colorado River here is clear and cool year-round, making it ideal for swimming, boating, and fishing. The campground features modern amenities including restroom and shower facilities. Most RV sites have pull-through parking pads that can accommodate any size rig, along with shade ramadas, fire pits, barbecue grills, and tent pads. Three sites are ADA-equipped. The park's approximately four miles of trails wind through the developed area, and the surrounding canyons offer additional hiking opportunities. Wildlife is abundant, with mallards, coots, herons, geese, hawks, roadrunners, quail, hummingbirds, doves, and owls commonly spotted throughout the park. A two-lane boat ramp provides access to the river through a protected lagoon.
