...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Florida... Cypress Creek At SR 54 Worthington Gardens affecting Pasco County. Withlacoochee At US 41 Dunnellon affecting Marion, Citrus and Levy Counties. .Due to recent heavy rainfall, water levels on Cypress Creek remain elevated. With additional heavy rainfall forecast, water levels are expected to continue rising, and could reach minor flood stage in the next few days. Elevated water levels continue on the Withlacoochee River at Dunnellon due to a combination of excessive hydrilla growth along a 4.5 mile stretch of river between U.S. 41 and Lake Rousseau, and recent heavy rainfall. Water levels are expected to hold steady before slowly decreasing over the next several days. Lake Delancy West Campground sits within a pine forest on the western shore of Lake Delancy in Ocala National Forest, Florida. It serves as the primary access point for the Ocala North OHV Trail System, with on-site corrals and staging areas for off-highway vehicles. The campground also functions as a trailhead for the Florida Trail, making it suitable for both motorized recreation and backcountry hiking. The campground offers 120 sites total. Sites 1-13 are designated tent and small trailer sites with fire rings, picnic tables, and lantern poles. Sites 14-120 are dispersed camping areas on the middle island. Basic amenities include vault toilets, but potable water is not available on-site. Black bears frequent this area, and all campers are required to store food in bear-proof containers or inside vehicles. The campground is located in close proximity to lakeshore marshes that provide fishing access. Pets are allowed on leashes no longer than six feet.
