About
Junction Campground is located at the junction of Highway 120 and Saddlebag Lake Road, just east of Yosemite National Park's Tioga Pass entrance. Set among pines at 9,600 feet elevation, the campground provides a high-country base for exploring the Mono Basin area, Saddlebag Lake, and the eastern Sierra. The campground has 13 sites with varying size capacities. Sites 1-5 can accommodate RVs or multiple vehicles with a maximum parking length of 40 feet. Sites 6-13 are suitable for single vehicles not exceeding 18 feet. The narrow gravel campground road makes it unsuitable for trailers or large vehicles beyond site 5. Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring, and bear-resistant food storage locker. This is an active bear area, and use of the provided bear boxes is mandatory. There is no potable water, so campers must bring their own. Vault toilets are located near sites 3 and 10. The campground operates first-come, first-served with on-site registration. Maximum stay is 14 days with a limit of 6 people per site.
