About

Jessie M. Honeyman Memorial State Park sits tucked among the Oregon Dunes three miles south of Florence, offering access to two sparkling freshwater lakes within one of Oregon's largest state park campgrounds. Cleawox Lake on the west side of Highway 101 and Woahink Lake on the east side both feature sandy beaches and designated swimming areas. The campground provides 355 individual campsites: 47 full-hookup sites with electric, water, and sewer; 121 electrical sites with water; and 187 tent sites with water nearby. Ten yurts are available, five of which are pet-friendly. The park also has six seasonal group tent camping areas and a hiker/biker camp. Four campsites and two yurts are ADA accessible. Amenities include flush toilets, hot showers, firewood sales, and a dump station. The historic Lodge operates between Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends, offering pedal boats, paddle boards, and kayak rentals. The park is adjacent to the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, and campers should expect noise from off-highway vehicle activity from May through September.
