* WHAT...Southeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected with isolated gusts to 60 mph possible along the highest ridgelines and favored terrain for downslope winds. * WHERE...Portions of southwest Virginia and northeast, southeast, and southern West Virginia. * WHEN...From 5 PM Saturday to 11 AM EDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A strong east to southeasterly wind field aloft associated with the remnants of Isaias will move over the region Saturday afternoon into Sunday. Interaction with the higher terrain will help to transport these higher wind speeds to the surface.

Island Campground is a rustic, primitive campground in the Greenbrier Ranger District of Monongahela National Forest, situated approximately 5 miles northeast of Bartow, West Virginia. The campground's location adjacent to Long Run and the East Fork of the Greenbrier River makes it particularly appealing to fishermen seeking native trout waters. Hikers have access to nearby trails including the East Fork Trail #365, an 8-mile route with challenging terrain, and the more accessible Smoke Camp Trail #324, a 1.8-mile day hike option. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations. As a primitive site, the campground has no restrooms or potable water. Campers should come fully prepared with their own water supply and plan to pack out all waste.

From Bartow, WV, take US Route 250S for approximately 3 miles. Take a left on Route 28. Campground is on the left after approximately 3 more miles.
