Illgen Falls Cabin offers a unique lodging experience on the eastern edge of Tettegouche State Park, positioned directly above the impressive 40-foot Illgen Falls on the Baptism River. This modern, accessible cabin sits on 2,000 feet of Baptism River shoreline in a private wooded setting, approximately three miles from the main park trails. The two-bedroom cabin accommodates up to six guests with two queen beds and a queen sleeper sofa. The full kitchen includes a refrigerator-freezer, glass-ceramic range, computerized oven, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, and complete cookware and utensils. A gas fireplace provides warmth and ambiance. The cabin features a private bathroom with running water and modern fixtures. Outside, a large deck with patio furniture and a gas grill provides the perfect spot to enjoy the sound of the falls. A walkway leads directly to views of Illgen Falls. Parking accommodates up to three vehicles. Guests must bring their own bedding and linens and are responsible for cleaning the cabin before departure.
