Located in the heart of Hungry Valley SVRA with panoramic mountain views, Honey Valley Group Camp serves as a venue for group camping, special events, club gatherings, weddings, charity events, and organized trail rides. The facility centers around a large amphitheater complete with seating, stage, and campfire ring. Additional amenities include a ranch-style barbecue pit, food preparation tables, smaller BBQ pits, a large group shade ramada, picnic tables, and restroom facilities. Around the perimeter of the central area, smaller camping zones provide their own picnic tables, shade ramadas, and fire rings for overnight tent and trailer camping. The campground is reservable through ReserveCalifornia for both day use and overnight stays. Special Event Permits are required for organized activities beyond normal park use and must be applied for 30 days in advance. Hungry Valley SVRA spans 19,000 acres with over 130 miles of trails for motorcycles, ATVs, dune buggies, and 4x4 vehicles. There is no potable water anywhere in the park. Open ground fires and firewood collection are prohibited; visitors must purchase firewood locally. The park experienced severe damage from the Post Fire in October 2024, which burned over 10,000 acres.

Directions

From Los Angeles, take Interstate 5 north through the Tejon Pass. Exit at Gorman and follow signs to Hungry Valley SVRA. The North Kiosk and Visitor Center are located at 5301 Ralphs Ranch Road, Gorman, CA 93243. Note: The south entrance remains closed due to fire damage.
