About
Home Gulch Campground is a 15-site facility located along the North Fork of the Sun River in Montana's Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest. The campground serves as a basecamp for anglers targeting rainbow and westslope cutthroat trout in the river, with a boat launch providing access for both motorized and non-motorized watercraft. The Mortimer Gulch National Recreation Trail is accessible nearby for hikers looking to explore the surrounding terrain. The campground offers vault toilets and drinking water from a hand pump. Sites are $10 per night with an additional $5 for extra vehicles. Interagency Senior and Access passes provide a 50% discount on single site fees. Bears frequent this area, and mandatory food storage regulations are in effect. All food must be kept out of sight in approved bear-resistant containers and removed from the area after eating. The campground is first-come, first-served with no advance reservations available.
